In an ongoing effort to continuously enhance the quality of education and provide the best learning experiences for students, the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Jember proudly announces the launch of TeFa (Teaching Factory) named "Terakofie". This launch marks a monumental step towards elevating undergraduate and vocational education in the Management Department to a higher level and offering students a profound and industry-relevant learning experience.
TeFa "Terakofie" is a revolutionary concept that integrates education with hands-on experiences in the real world. Terakofie will function as a business environment simulation, providing students with opportunities to engage in real-world activities as if they were working within an actual company. Consequently, students will be able to develop practical skills, business insights, and a deep understanding of how business operations truly function.
The Faculty of Economics and Business canteen at the University of Jember serves as the fitting venue for the launch of TeFa Terakofie. During the launch event attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, along with faculty members and students, the Dean stated, "TeFa Terakofie will provide students with a unique opportunity to learn through real experiences, collaborate with industries, and develop skills highly demanded in today's job market."
TeFa Terakofie will offer various diverse programs and projects, including inventory management, market analysis, customer research, product development, marketing, and much more. By participating in these projects, students will be able to strengthen their competencies across various business aspects and prepare themselves to tackle the challenges of an increasingly complex industrial world.
We are thrilled about the launch of TeFa Terakofie and believe that it will bring significant benefits to the students of the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Jember. We hope that this initiative will further solidify the position of the Faculty of Economics and Business as an innovative and industry-relevant educational hub that aligns with the demands of the current business world.
